Part Three of a tragedy trilogy by Don Robertson about a young boy growing up in post-war Cleveland .
I grew up in the described neighborhood myself and attended the junior and senior high schools described in the stories. The geographical details were exactly as I remembered them. Fortunately I did not have the tragedy although I watched the devastating fire of October 20, 1944 alluded to in the stories. Deja-vu all over again! JCK

and I'm delighted to see that it's been reprinted at last
I first read this book when I was younger, and I'm delighted to see that it's been reprinted at last. It's the second in a series of books about the same character, at 5, 13, and 17. The first is "The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread"' and the third, "The Greatest Thing That Never Happened", all wonderful books.
