We're back in the July of 2024 taking a look back 30 years to a tremendous year for "Summer blockbusters" of 1994 on the newest edition of "We've Seen That! Podcast."
Co-hosts T.J. Rives and "The Famous Jay" Betsill return with their usual insight, analysis and rememberances of some of the most known movies of the last generation.
From Tom Hanks' epic performance in "Forrest Gump" that earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor to the ultra successful action/comedy "True Lies" with Arnold Swarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis and Tom Arnold and then the dramatic, intense, action thriller "Speed" as Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock must navigate the streets of L.A. at a high rate of speed with a bomb on their bus placed by the villan played by Dennis Hopper.
The boys give their thoughts on the box office sucess and what they liked and didn't like from the top movies that Summer. Which of these films continue to "hold up" and capture audience, now four decades later and why?
