The Summer Sky!

Listen Later

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to watch the sky. From the stars, to the moon, to the meteor showers, nature projects its best entertainment right above our heads. From now until the Perseid’s Meteor shower peak happing in mid-August, the podcast will be dedicated to all things summer sky!

On today’s episode, we are covering the basics of how to watch the sky.

  1. Ask your parent or guardian’s permission!
  • Find the perfect watching place
    1. Watch out for light pollution and high fences
  • Make sure you are taken care of
    1. You need a comfy chair, blanket, and probably some bug spray
  • Get what you need to see the stars
    1. Telescope? Compass? Just your eyes
