Just released The Super Connectors podcast S2E17 with Noah Obstfeld who casually calls himself a “serial introducer” (yes, it sounds illegal… but it’s actually wholesome 😄).
A few nuggets I had to share:
“Introductions have more warmth and friendliness than ‘connections’.”
Yep. Words matter. Energy matters.
He basically treats networking like eating vegetables:
“Get out there. It’s a real must.” (annoying… but correct)
His monetization take was refreshingly blunt:
“Be unapologetic about the value… this costs money, this costs time.”
(Say it louder for the people pretending it’s “just vibes”.)
He’s not “closing deals” at events. He’s collecting introducers:
“Not everyone is a potential client… everyone is a potential introducer.”
That mindset shift is everything.
On AI + networking: use it for speed, not for pretending to be human.
Because nothing replaces trust. And AI intros feel… AI-like.
Also: Noah’s building Pitch Roast Live, a live comedy startup pitch night where founders pitch and comedians + investors roast them. Absolute chaos (in a good way).
If you’re an SDR/BDR/founder who hates cold outreach and secretly wants networking to feel less like work and more like real life… you’ll enjoy this one.
