According to Forbes, The Super Bowl is the most wagered-on sporting event in the US. It's been estimated by the American Gaming Association that Americans could have wagered $23.1 billion on Sunday's game. Final numbers are not out yet but in 2023, $16 billion was wagered on Super Bowl 57.
