1 Cor 12:12 For as the body is one and has many

members, but all the members of that one body, being

many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one

Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews

or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been

made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is

not one member but many.

● Here at BFBC, it doesn’t matter if you’re from

Wibaux, or Beach, it doesn’t matter if you’re this

color or that, young or old, it doesn’t matter if

you’ve spent time in the clink or if you run the

clink. We are all here to worship the Living God.

● Diversity of gifts is what makes us great.

Eph 4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some

prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry,

for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to

the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of

God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the

fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children,

tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of

doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of

deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may

grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16

from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by

what every joint supplies, according to the effective working

by which every part does its share, causes growth of the

body for the edifying of itself in love.

● Part of our DNA is that we are joined and knit

together.

● Heb. 10:24 And let us consider one another in

order to stir up love and good works, 25 not

forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as

is the manner of some, but exhorting one another,

and so much the more as you see the Day

approaching.

● BFBC is one church in many locations. We are very

purposeful in assembling ourselves together. We

have the Rally, BFBI graduation, and Empowered.

Rom 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the

grace that is given to us, let us use them:

● We don’t bury what God has given us in the dirt.

● Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come

to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a

ransom for many.”

● We use our talents and giftings to serve others.

● We have opportunities to serve our church family,

our communities, our region, and the world.
