Kent, feeling that he finally outsmarted Cawkins at the rally thanks to Bruce Wayne stepping in as Superman, was thrown through a loop when Cawkins claimed that Superman was a fraud unless he could see him fly.  Commentary on the many flaws in Kent's execution in protecting the truth.
