Superman succeeded in destroying the ants by drowning the ants by flooding the city, in the meantime the moon dwellers are boring holes to escape what they think is a danger which is causing the tunnels to flood and drown Jimmy, Poco and the professor.  Commentary on the issues with this serial and the heavier direction the series will take.
