On today's episode, Irina sits down with Mike Mortson, a 30+ year veteran in supply chain, who has started a blog site www.supplychaingamechanger.com. The site went from being where he could share his thoughts on his learnings and experiences to one of the top sites on the supply chain globally. 

 

With a career spent in supply chain, Mike has seen many ways of performing the processes involved in managing the supply chain. Many of these processes are highly efficient; however, many more are highly inefficient. On his site, Mike shares his experiences in improving the Supply Chain and has been honored with the "Top 20 global supply chain blog" and "Top 13 global procurement blog" awards. 

 

Mike discusses 2020 trends in supply chain and what might shift in 2021. They also discuss some of the supply chain challenges that have yet to be solved and the importance of technology in supply chain today.
