Listen Later

EPISODE DETAILS: In this episode, we are going to be looking at three surprises that the disciples experienced at dinner with Jesus. But with these surprises also came some lessons that Jesus wanted His disciples and us to learn.
SERIES DETAILS: In this series, we are going to be looking at the last night Jesus spent with His disciples. Jesus spent the last few hours He had with His disciples to teach them and give them some words of encouragement. In less than 24 hours Jesus would be arrested and crucified. The last night with Jesus is found in John 13-17. These are some of the most passionate teachings and words of Jesus from His entire Earthly ministry. Let’s look at them together.

So no one’s feet got washed.” - Enduring Word - Read more at - https://enduringword.com/bible-commentary/john-13/amp/

[4] “Very early in the morning the leading priests and the elders of the people met again to lay plans for putting Jesus to death. Then they bound him, led him away, and took him to Pilate, the Roman governor. When Judas, who had betrayed him, realized that Jesus had been condemned to die, he was filled with remorse. So he took the thirty pieces of silver back to the leading priests and the elders. ‘I have sinned,’ he declared, ‘for I have betrayed an innocent man.’ ‘What do we care?’ they retorted. ‘That’s your problem.’ Then Judas threw the silver coins down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself.” - Matthew 27:1-5 NLT
