As we walked across the stage to get handed our high school diploma we did not think twice about if we were prepared. High school was meant to prepare us for this moment. The teacher said it everyday to insure we knew. They would scold us about failure and praise us on achievements. Yet, the truth is hard to swallow. Even the smartest struggle to get by in college. No one told us how hard it would be. No one taught us the strategies we would need. It takes time to learn what works best for you. You have to fail in order to know how you can succeed.
