The Swan Princess is a 1994 children's fantasy film that really, really wants to be a Disney Princess film, but doesn't quite get there. Elle really likes it all the same though. Talking points: Nasty bird sex, Daddy Rothbart, Derek is a bad name for a fantasy prince, swamp friends. Every other week, grownups Zach and Elle look back at obscure, overlooked, and forgotten kids movies. Elle probably saw them as a child; Zach probably did not.
