What does free-market healthcare look like? Is the US a good example of private healthcare? Why are costs astronomically high? Why did governments in the US and around the world not pay more attention to Sweden's approach to Covid-19?
These are some of the questions I wanted to know during my conversation with Dr. Gilbert Berdine, a Harvard trained internist and pulmonologist.
Dr. Gilbert Berdine has a very unique mix of being a practicing physician and professor, along with a deep understanding of Austrian economics. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and an affiliate of the Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University.
