It's all going off with a tetchy Jose Mourinho returning to a fiesty Stamford Bridge to see his side goaded and deflated, his noisy neighbour is lauding the "beautiful" football, whilst Sean Dyche is having a rightful moan about everything to do with football, but mainly referees. Then there's Neil Warnock, the underdog rising up with a drubbing of Fulham in the heart of Wales.

We've also got some 1-0 scorelines, late drama and lovely Roy Hodgson. Not to mention the Championship, the beginning of the Dean Smith era at Villa and of course, the big quiz!

It's international break so there's the annual October mulling over of the England squad and where they are in terms of progression, personnel and personality! Turns out they are way beyond everyone's expectations after a famous win in Seville which followed and impressive, yet eerie experience in Croatia.

As well as this, we went to Ossett United for our annual Non-League Day jaunt and we saw it all.....goals, red cards and a fair amount of shouting!

Here we go again and it was the biggest game of the season at Anfield, but it didn't quite live up to the hype, however Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs kept up their own hype in their own ways, some more entertaining than others.

There's also the race for 7th with the play offs taking place this weekend. The Cherries were the pick of the bunch there! There is also a tribute to Steve Bruce, #cabbagegate and the Quiz!

It's unavoidable though and nit only his demise, but that of Manchester United in recent weeks, months and some would even say years. Alongside that in stark contrast, Manchester City go back to the top of the pile whilst their challengers, Liverpool and Chelsea played out a draw.

The top of the league is looking more and more familiar by the day with the Blues (Chelsea and Man City) and Reds (Liverpool and Man United) all impressing, Spurs, Southampton and Burnley not so much. Even an away win for Arsenal gets somewhat overshadowed by N'Golo Kante eating curry though......

There's also the Championship which is starting to take shape with Leeds United destroying football, the quiz is back as ever and there's much excitement for the live event of the year taking place the following day!

And just like that, international football is back on the menu and it has served up the Nations League. Nobody really knows how it will work, whether it will help anyone or whether or not it is even real! But so far, it seems to be positive, for some at least, perhaps not so much England. We get stuck into all of the fallout and of course some positives too from England's first Nations League game, a defeat to Spain and then the friendly win which followed, where England were victorious (just about) with a 1-0 victory over the Swiss.

There's also a catch up on other nations, as well as what's been keeping our hosts busy with the lack of football during the international break, sparking discussions of players and how they are treated, wanting to go home after a day with Pep and Wesley Sneijder just chilling.

Elton John was crocodile rocking at Vicarage Road when his Watford side came from behind to beat Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool are still standing at the top of the pile, whilst Arsenal win on the road at Cardiff to ensure that the Blues do in fact, fade away. Also, one of the pod is happy with his team, the other couldn't be more glum!

Football bloody football! It's early doors, but it's exciting already. Whilst Liverpool have won all three games without conceding, Manchester City falter with a draw at Molineux with the excellent Wolverhampton Wanderers. Meanwhile, Chelsea and more surprisingly Watford are also 3 from 3. Fulham are in the goals and Arsenal are up and running, but still not convincing.

Whilst we're still deliberating over our European side, the Championship continues and is well and truly in full swing with Bielsa's Leeds flying, Pulis and his Boro boys are flying the flag and there's a Lancashire revival in the play offs.
