Many of us know SoCal, or Southern California as being crit racing central, as well as a blossoming location for gravel and road racing. Today I chat with Michael Sweet about the SoCal life, American cycling in general, and just how important big results in Europe are. Attention spans are getting shorter, one huge win will not change much, but how can we grab attention and hold it long enough to spark a change. No matter whether it is road racing, gravel, crits, or anything in between, Sweet knows his business and has got the energy to back it up. But are his parents vacation choices really an excuse to not visit Canada?
