Should Librarians face a fine and jail time if they check out a book to minors that could be seen as obscene? There is a bill going through the Idaho legislature that would make it against the law for a Librarian to hand some material over to a minor. Have your kids ever checked out something concerning from the library? Another bill making it's way through the Idaho Legislature is a bill that would make it a felony for any medical professional to use transgender affirming medications or surgeries on anyone under the age of eighteen. Do you think that this is a role of government, or something that should be handled between the child, their parents, and a doctor? (3/7/22)
