The Talking Dogs and the Dog Who Disappeared

Hi, my name is Bill Salisbury.  Hundreds and thousands of kids and adults too call me "Uncle" Bill.  I hope you will too. 

In the 1940s and 1950s radio was king.  I remember "out of the past comes the thundering hoof beats of the great horse Silver.  The Lone Ranger rides again," and on another station came the voice of The  Shadow as he said, "The Shadow knows,"  followed by his eerie laugh.  Although there were many, many adventure stories that caused the listener to be glued to his radio set, there was also comedy, good comedy, clean comedy.  The Charlie McCarthy show was one.  Edgar Bergen was a ventriloquist; he was the voice of Charlie.  Well, I want families to relive those good old days with a Christian emphasis.  I too am a ventriloquist and my friend, Uncle Cousin has some interesting and funny stories to tell.  Then you talk about adventure--on our program we have some missionaries who have exciting stories to tell, stories that include poisonous snakes and other wild animals.  And do you want to know what the Bible is all about?  Well Aunt Karen has a segment entitled "Thru the Bible with Aunt Karen. "  She explains some wonderful Bible truths illustrated by a story.  If that's not enough, we have another wooden headed guy telling today's "Chuckle with Chuckles" and there's much more.  But you've got to tune in and find out what I'm talking about!
