This November I challenged myself with shipping one of my creative projects. That project is the UI Booklet, a dozen pages full of guidelines and standards for UI design. 

The booklet is unique, and comes as a work in progress to be finished by you.

I've been thinking more about getting back into podcasting lately, so I thought this would be a nice start. 

A couple weeks ago I listened to the Design Better Podcast featuring Seth Godin. The episode was incredible. One thing Seth said stood out to me. Paraphrasing, he says that "everyone should have a blog and write everyday". 

Being someone who likes to write, I thought this would be an interesting experiment. I'm about two weeks into writing everyday, have written three times, and thought I would share one of my entries and expand on it here.

After meeting in the front row of a public speaking lecture last semester at Montana State, Watson and I became great friends. There is something special when you find similar people at such a large university. Watson is one of the harder working individuals I have ever met, and I am excited to share this episode with you. 

Throughout this epsiode, Watson touches on his studies at Montana State University, his families’ outfitting business that has been operational for generations, how public lands are changing in the United States, and why he thinks he could live in Honduras.

Tim Lockie took a couple of minutes out of his busy traveling schedule to sit down and talk everything Salesforce, his non-profit work with Now IT Matters, why he is most productive on airplanes, and how he builds his world class team. 

EP. 5 is full of humor and insight. Tim's humor and hardworking nature are contagious, and had me laughing the entire interview. His passion for Salesforce and impacting the world through Now IT Matters shows, and I am excited to continue to learn about the possibilities with Salesforce and non-profits. 

It is fun for me to have different guests and hear these different stories. There is something about authentic, unscripted story telling that resonates with me, and I am excited to continue to bring new episodes to life. 

For EP. 4 of #TheTechInternShow I brought on one of my more valuable connections; Hannah Bratterud. 

Hannah was excited to come onto the show and share her background in sales and networking, discuss ways in which you can build your network, and give you tactics to use in order to take your career to the next level. 

Hannah brings some incredible ideas and tactics to the table in this episode, and I am excited to hear your thoughts. I have already began using some of Hannah's tactics since we filmed, and they have been producing unprecedented results to my network!
