Stepping close to the edge once more, our beleaguered trio cross out yet more obstacles to True Victory. The First Son is given knowledge of a dead worldine, the First Regret is corrected, the mage is restored to the height of his skill, and a very wonderful scientist is saved from a grisly fate and given a place to stay. But a question as to the fate of another scientist looms large in the background, and I'm sorry! While I do *technically* exist at all points in my personal timeline simultaneously I need to go through them in a roughly linear fashion or things can get difficult for everyone, which means I can't always answer my own questions. I don't like it anymore than you, and I certainly don't like giving him more things to worry about!
