We cover the life/marriage changing book Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires; The Respect Desperately Needs, by Dr. Emmerson Eggerichs. It's a call for Husbands to Love their wives and Wives to Respect their Husbands. The book focuses on Ephesians chapter 5 and lays out the Biblical outline for a successful marriage.

Samantha & Josh dive deep into why they needed help in their marriage and how this book helped pull them out of the "Crazy Cycle" and still helps to this day!

This week's guest is the awesome Brad McMahan, the pastor of Adventure Christian Church (ACC)in Jeffersontown Kentucky. Brad was the youth Pastor to a local mega-church in Louisville before becoming the Lead Pastor at ACC. He's a man who is dedicated to helping J-town one person at a time.

Josh and Brad discuss the troubling trend of self-centric living, self-love, idolization, the harms of social media (before we watched The Social Dilemma on Netflix... wow), how Christian's can step up to help the world, and how Christians can fight their comfort and sometimes their lukewarm faith.
