Text: 1 John 4:7-21

For the third time in his letter, John turns to the matter of Christians loving each other. This shows us it’s obviously a non-negotaible and something he wants to elevate even more. But, what happens when people like you and I read John and think, “Thanks again, John, we get it, but we just find it really hard to do”? The truth is, there are plenty of occasions in church life where we need motivation and encouragement to live this out and that’s where John wants to take us.
