Along a peculiar stretch of Interstate-45, between Houston and Galveston, more than 30 bodies have been discovered since the 1970s. Countless others, most of them young girls and young women, have vanished— never to be seen again. Considering the harsh climate conditions and police departments' disregard for the seriousness of these murders, many of these cases have gone unsolved.
