How the "The Crown Act" has impacted Colorado

Who is Representative Leslie Herod, and what is the CROWN Act? And what does that have to do with textured hair that is kinky, coily, curly, and wavy?

If you have never heard of the CROWN act, it is a very important law that is passed in Colorado that needs to be passed at the federal level in the United States. It not only protects us from discrimination but RETALIATION if we report it to employers.

It's so important that the Dove Corporation and OPRAH herself are sponsoring the federal bill.

When you think of Black History there are so many things that play a role in the experience, the journey, the culture, and the uniqueness of it.
