Many believers remain spiritually captive despite knowing God's promises because they lack genuine thanksgiving and joy in serving God. According to Deuteronomy 28:47, serving God without joyfulness and gladness opens doors for enemy captivity. The primary obstacle is having a soul conformed to worldly influences rather than transformed by God's Word. True transformation comes through planting the incorruptible seed of Scripture in our souls and learning to yield to the Holy Spirit. The purest form of thanksgiving flows through our prayer language, especially when we have nothing natural to be thankful for. In these last days, God wants to release special anointings that can only be accessed through transformed souls entering via the gateway of thanksgiving.
