The theater of my heart,

seeks a charming young female

to win the role of my love,

in the longest running

show of affection ever known.

She will be my leading lady,

cast in many romantic acts,

as we play the perfect couple

at this stage of our lives.

Nothing will be made up,

we will both appear

just natural and

illuminated by the warm

afterglow of many encores.

My offerings are

open to the public,

but there is a back door

where just the right girl,

can find a part in what

envelopes my soul

Therein lies a ticket

to admit only one.

Imagine the accolades

we will share when we

are discovered to be

the most perfect couple

top ever grace the

world's stage

Auditions will start

with just a smile,

and then a look

of loneliness that only

Bette Davis could master,

followed by some opening lines,

that will eventually be silenced

with the sweetest rendition

ever of a kiss.

Let the curtains

of loneliness

rise and reveal

love worthy of applause

in the form of

outstanding ovations
