In today's episode we talk about one of the most important aspects of therapy, namely the therapeutic relationship. According to many studies in the world of psychology the therapeutic relationship is one of the most crucial components of the therapeutic process that leads to positive outcomes. During the episode I will discuss, what the therapeutic relationship looks like, how its cultivated, and what skills the therapist needs to create the safe space where therapy is held. During that conversation I will also talk about the 3 core conditions as developed by Carl Rogers and help you to gather up some important questions to ask your therapist within your first two sessions. In this episode we also dive into my first session as a client in therapy where I undergo Jungian Analysis which is a form of therapy that deals with the conversation between our conscious mind and the unconscious mind through dream work.
