Since it's Halloween month, the A24 Rocks crew has decided to review an all time classic for their A24 Vibe Discussion: The Thing. Released in 1982 and directed by John Carpenter: The Thing is about a group of scientists at a remote research facility in Antarctica who encounter a Norwegian scientist from a neighboring research facility trying to kill a husky. When the Norwegian scientist attempts to shoot at the Americans, he is shot dead, but leaves the group with many questions. They discover that every human at the Norwegian's base is dead, and slowly begin to realize that a "Thing" may have been responsible for the corpses, and is now hunting them. Starring Kurt Russell and Wilford Brimley, The Thing was initially a commercial and critical failure, but has gained a tremendous cult following since its release. How will the A24 Rocks crew review it?
