Matthew 6:2,5,18 / Luke 18

In this series entitled "The Thing Beneath the Thing," we will be asking you to do some self-examination, to ask yourself some hard questions like: Why do I do what I do? Why do I lash out in certain situations? Have I dealt with past and current wounds? As we take this journey together, it may be painful at times, but it is well worth it as we let God help us understand ourselves better and heal.

Next Steps:

• Find a safe place where you can take off your mask, where you can be real and vulnerable.

• Ask yourself whether you have any hypocritical tendencies; if you do, confess and repent.
