The National Assembly yesterday (Tuesday) voted in favour of the establishment of an ad hoc committee to investigate the Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane's fitness to hold office. The ANC says it is important for the Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane to have an opportunity to clear her name before a committee of Parliament. The party’s deputy Chief Whip, Doris Dlakude, says the committee would give Mhkwebane an opportunity to clear her name.
