Former President Jacob Zuma says last night addressed the media where he said that he was sentenced to 15 months jail by the Constitutional Court without trial. This comes after the Constitutional Court sentenced him to 15 months in for ignoring the apex court's order that he continue testifying before the state capture commission - despite his claims that commission chairperson, Justice Raymond Zondo was biased against him. The Constitutional Court will hear Zuma's rescission application on Monday the 12th of July. Zuma went on to say that he is concerned that South Africa is sliding back to apartheid era practices where people were detained without trial.
