Fantastic sci fi detective fiction!
I love these Andrea Cort novels and this second novel The Third Claw of GOD is brilliant and i enjoyed it so much that i often found myself dreaming about the fantastic fictional universe of Andrea Cort. Whoever rates this book a two or a three star novel does not know good sci fi when they read it and should stick with reading stuff like harry potter books or something. This book is intense and full of interesting ideas and concepts just like the first novel emmisarries from the dead which i must read over again becuase i loved it so much. The thing i love most about these novels is the way aliens and human beings interact with each other in a very realistic sort of way and they are described in such vivid detail i can see the characters and the scenery in my mind. i really enjoyed this book but, i wish that the third novel of this series which is currently only being published in german for some reason, would be released here in America becuase i don't care how bad the critics claimed it to be i want to read it for myself and be the judge of it. If you love sci fi you will enjoy this book very much.

Fantastic 2nd Novel in the Andrea Cort series
Adam-Troy Castro has created a vivid, complicated and believable SF world with his novels which turn out to be compelling mysteries. I loved the first book (which I also highly recommend) but this second novel is also excellent and has tremendous emotional resonance which builds from the first novel. It's Agatha Christie in outer space! I'm completely hooked and I can't wait to read the next book in the series...
Murder on the Asgard Express
The author's setup is a classic: a horrible crime is committed in a mansion (well, a space elevator) full of aristocrats, their functionaries, servants and guests, and a gifted police inspector must unearth the murderer's plan before it's too late. Our investigator is Andrea Cort, war criminal and misanthropist, who has to apply insight peculiar to her horrifying background in order to solve the case.
