This week, my brother, author/illustrator Chad Derdowski (previously on episodes 107, 108, and 119), and I are discussing Chad’s new volume, The Thrillmarillion, which depicts, in written and visual form, the history of the world of the Scissorwulf, first seen in Fortune Favors the Bold, Volume 1: Saga of the Scissorwulf! (Check out the rad new cover!) A smattering of the full page illustrations below:
This truly epic work harkens back (at least in my mind) to the titans of 70s comic books depicted in this volume I had as a kid.
Though I had no idea who most of the characters were, I always enjoyed flipping through it and got the same kind of vibe reading The Thrillmarillion! Check it out!
