Over the past week, I’ve shared about the Thought Leader Messaging Equation, how you can improve the quality of your content through three different variables. The first two variables are T for Time and I for Interest.
The third variable in our Thought Leader Messaging Equation is E for Expertise.
I’m convinced expertise is one of the most underutilized resources in business today. None of us know all the answers, so how do we rely on the expertise of others to serve our audiences well?
Maybe you’re just getting started in the coaching or consulting space or maybe you just launched your podcast or your YouTube or IGTV channel.
There’s a good chance you feel like you don’t have what it takes, that you’re not enough of an expert yet.
That may even make you feel like a bit of an Imposter. Let me remind you of what you already know that’s also so easy to forget: no one starts out as an expert, but it’s the ones who are willing to learn from others with more expertise who become the next generation of experts.
Neither of us will become the experts we want to be tomorrow, so let’s use today to see how far we’ve come in our expertise. The best years are still ahead, and I can’t wait to see how you continue to rise as an expert in your industry.
