Psalm 69:18-25

1. What caused the depression Jesus felt?

A. It was the holiday season all for the Jewish people it was the Passover.  

B. Jesus’ depression came at time of great suffering.  He was hurting.

C. You feel depression in a time of physical exhaustion.

D. Jesus experienced His depression at a time of betrayal by friends.

E.  Jesus experienced His depression at a time of standing up for someone who had let Him down.

F. Jesus experienced His depression because it was the time of tasting sin.  

2. Jesus Remedy for Depression

A. First two steps that Jesus took that did not work!   Psalms 69:20 

1) We look for someone to feel sorry for us!  

2) He wanted someone to cheer Him up or to take care of Him.  

B. What did work for Jesus? Psalms  69:30 

1) He began to praise His God with a song.

2) Take time to praise God magnify Him with thanksgiving.
