The Flyers got their first win following their long COVID layoff, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Yet as we've discussed all year, it was a mixed bag. The power play looked great, but at the same time wasn't nearly as efficient as it needed to be. The team generated a ton of chances and actually outshot an opponent, but the penalty kill was a mess and allowed the Rangers to hag around.
