30 years ago, I met Paulo Mathedi - he was a trade student from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He came into Colfax Music, Denver (Monaco and Evans) to look at Guitars. His English was pretty much non-existent yet he could play guitar -- as we muddled through linguistically - we eventually played guitar together - no problem.

Well, we became great friends, and this past weekend, Paulo sat in with Ruth Israel & The Band, Once Removed to give tribute to my inspiration, Mr. B.B. King.

On Guitar, Paulo Mathedi, Caleb McAllister ( by the way, Caleb Graduates Conifer High this month with a 4.0 !! Good Job Caleb) and me - Patrick McAllister (56) - I saw B B when I was 9 at Ravinia Park, IL. --- I was hooked right then and there !!
