The Tick is a fictional superhero created by cartoonist Ben Edlund in 1986 as a newsletter mascot for the New England Comics chain of Boston-area comic book stores. The character is a parody of American comic book superheroes.

Welcome to The Ranger Ryan Show. We have initiated Project 103, which tests the theory that the 'experts' have come up with, that superhero films have suffered over the past few years due to what they call... Superhero Fatigue. Now this may sound like a very serious condition, but I think it best to try and test this theory in the form of a podcast.
