Inside the tower, Elias finds a rapidly vibrating bundle of metallic tinsel lodged in the main gear assembly, identified by Sasha's lore book as the work of the Tinsel Tangle, an entity that disrupts orderly mechanisms. To safely remove the tinsel without causing a kinetic shockwave, Elias realizes he needs non-metallic dampening material. Remembering previous mentions of stabilization agents used in the town's infrastructure, Elias rushes back to the foundation level to retrieve the ancient dampening moss stored near the Resonance Buffer vault beneath the nearby Abandoned Sugar Silo, leaving Sasha to guard the compromised clockwork.
