Upon discovering that holiday decorations are losing their conceptual integrity and becoming hollow proxies, they realize the systemic nature of the threat. Using an antique tuning fork and a deep, shared conviction of the holiday spirit, they manage to breach a blocked resonance chamber and temporarily push back the Fade. The episode concludes with the realization that their victory is merely a stay of execution, and that they must seek the source of the erasure to truly save the season.
