This week's episode came about thanks to two things: Jim is currently researching loads of wrestling stuff for, you know, reasons, and was fascinated by the rise of 'shoot-style' wrestling in Japan in the 1980s; and as luck would have it, friend of the podcast Craig Michael Hall is one of the people behind Tetsujin, a shoot-style show that is happening in Liverpool on Friday February 9th (tickets from http://tetsujin.bigcartel.com). Craig is the expert, so he gives you wrestlers to check out and a bit more behind a kind of wrestling that has one foot in MMA and the other in pro wrestling.
