As many of us know, the Trump administration is moving to defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which would dramatically affect the way Americans get information. Kyle LaFond also serves as President of the Friends Board of PBS Wisconsin, so he also has some insights on what will happen in our state if this goes through.

Today, we are excited to welcome former WI Senate Majority Leader Bob Jauch (D - Poplar) back to the program! Last week, we talked about the brazen gerrymandering efforts being undertaken by Republicans in Texas. Democrats have responded by leaving the state to prevent the bill from having a vote. Senator Jauch once employed similar tactics here in Wisconsin during the Scott Walker years, so he has a unique insight on this situation. 

Over the last several years, we have seen a rise in anti-vaccine sentiment largely due to prominent figures like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. spreading misinformation. The measles are making a comeback, and now, there are several confirmed cases here in Wisconsin.
