Great storyline, but I will not be completing this series.

The story gets better and better. Very engaging characters and storyline BUT the story ends with another cliffhanger at just 18% into the book! The rest is a bonus novel - 1st installment to another series. Marata Eros is a great storyteller, and I don't mind series and cliffhangers, but if I'm buying a book, the story I'm buying should take up the majority of the book, NOT 80% worth of something else! As much as I like the storyline and want to find out what will happen to Farren and Mick, I am not willing to pay $2.99 for each additional installment for the rest of this series if all I'm getting is just a few pages (less than 20%) of a book! According to Amazon, that's an additional $22.93 for the remaining 7 books of this 10 book series.

What a flawlessly written, dark, emotional, gut wrenching, heart breaking, pulse pounding, tormenting web Marata Eros has woven. These 94 pages of The Token 3 have left me shatteredââ.so shattered. I turn, and turn, and turn the pages through teary eyes, hoping with everything that I have that there is one more chapterââ..Just. One. More. Chapter. Iâm not sure that my heart can wait until March. Not that I have a choice, but Iâm quite certain the anticipation of The Token 4 is going to put me over the edge. This series, so far, is just that good!! Another must read!!

Oh My

It has been a month since I read The Token 2, so I had to go back and read the last few pages to catch up on where The Token 3 picks up. Faren wakes up in a hospital after collapsing in front of Thorn. She discovers an uneasy alliance with Thorn, and finds he's not quite the creep she thought he was. Then, her apartment is broken into. Cop Tagger enters the scene and adds to the confusion in her already confused life. There's something about Tagger that she doesn't like. This installment reveals a few more secrets to help us understand the characters. The ending is a major cliffhanger. Will Mick and Faren get together at long last? We have to wait until book 4 comes out in March! I don't know if I can wait that long.

This book was beyond any expectation. It's intense, and deep, and RAW.

This book finally gives the MORE than you've been craving from the first two books.
