What’s Your Reason To Smile?
Mid-April is not all bad.
There’s actually some gorgeous astrology to work with in the middle of all the chaos happening in Aries.
The best transit of April comes early Monday morning on April 13th, as Venus in Taurus sextiles Jupiter in Cancer.
I’ve been having such a good time with both benefic planets empowered in these signs lately.
A lot more fun being had.
The love being spread around with great ease.
The quiet confidence that you’re not alone.
This combo helps ground us in the present moment and appreciate what we have, probably better than any other astrological configuration.
This is the recipe of an abundance mindset that’s based on gratitude.
So even though there’s this big mess going on in Aries, and the world seems like it’s on fire, worrying about what’s outside your control is just giving away your personal power.
What can you express gratitude and appreciation for right here, right now?
Come back to this feeling, and your nervous system automatically tunes back into abundance.
You have reasons to smile.
Write them down, think about it, act on it, and watch your reality change.
The King of Aries Returns To His Castle
Now, about that chaos in Aries.
Aries is a sign that’s strongly linked with identity.
The King of Aries returning to his castle makes for a great storyline, but it’s not the reality.
The truth is Saturn and Neptune started some major s**t in this area of our lives, and now Mars doesn’t even recognize the place.
Kinda like how you might not recognize yourself right now.
That’s because the current moment has more to do with Mars joining and adding fire to the changes that were already started by the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in February.
Many of us are feeling like new people. We’ve decided to let a quieter side of ourselves take the wheel. This is the essence of regime change.
We can see the theme of regime change all over the news, but we’re also talking about the regime change that’s taking place within ourselves.
There’s a different you that wants to call the shots.
Right now, things don’t make sense.
You can feel something big happening but don’t quite know what to do about it.
Who is the new you?How to embody this evolved version of yourself?
For now, the combo of Mars + Neptune has more questions than answers.
As Mars starts to fix the mess that Saturn and Neptune started while he was away, our clarity will improve as well.
Another cause for confusion is that Mercury has been struggling in Pisces for way too long. If it feels like you’ve had fewer brain cells for 2 months straight, that’ll improve soon.
Put it all together, and we’re building up to the most challenging transit of the year: the Mars-Saturn conjunction on April 19th.
Personal Will > Public Authority
Heated Mars and cold/dry Saturn have never been known to work well together.
When these two come together, everything can seemingly grind to a halt.
It was in late March 2020 that Mars + Saturn contributed to widespread shutdowns. (With the Saturn-Pluto conjunction signaling the pandemic as a whole.)
Right now, we’re seeing similar themes of shutdowns due to a fuel crisis.
However, this time we’re on Mars’ turf and not Saturn’s, as was the case in 2020.
What makes this time different is that Mars, the King of Aries, has the power.
So instead of Saturn’s setbacks, rejections, obstacles, and public decree proving too great to overcome, Mars’ tenacity powers through the turbulence.
In real time, we’re rewriting our internal rules.
We’re listening to our inner consciousness instead of some outside authority.
And perhaps where Mars in Aries shines brightest, we’re acting on our desires and impulses without getting bogged down by the overthinking and overplanning.
Not to say it’s easy.
Practically all of April has the Saturn-Mars conjunction active, with the tension building up until the peak on April 19th, and then the come-down during the last 2 weeks of the month.
Anyways, there are both positive and negative outcomes to this.
Challenging moments like this apply a lot of pressure.
But it is in the face of such pressure that we get pushed to dig deep and surpass our limits.
We’re all about to be pushed to our limits in one way or another.
The only question is, will you crack under the pressure or let it fuel your awakening?
You are more than capable of rising to the occasion.
Trust yourself.
So, although the toughest transit of 2026 is roughly a week away, this is the kind of pressure that pushes you to reach new heights you didn’t realize you had in you.
Move as though you have already decided to triumph and you’ll bring out the full potential of a moment like this.
Good luck.
