Welcome back Lighthouse Explorer! Today we'll be discussing the Tower of Hercules in Spain, considered one of the oldest lighthouses still operational today. Built during the 2nd century AD, it stands on the 'Hill of Hercules,' guiding ships safely overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Originally named 'Farum Brigantium,' it served as a navigational aid for ships entering the Roman port of Brigantium, now A Coruña.
