Paul Boyce (President & CEO of PWGC) talks with Islip Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter, on the Environmental Echo, alongside Charlie Bartha (Sr. Vice President of PWGC) to discuss the various projects and issues related to the Town of Islip. Topics include Long Island's MacArthur Airport, Browns River, The Southwest Sewer District, and much more. Angie Carpenter gives an inside look on projects that are preserving the environment.

Supervisor Carpenter has spent close to the last 30 years as an elected official serving in a variety of capacities. For example, she spent 12 years as a representing the 11th District as a Suffolk County Legislator. Following that she was elected as Suffolk County Treasurer for 10 years. She has been Islip Town Supervisor since 2015, where she has overseen the efforts to encourage the use of the Town-owned Islip MacArthur Airport, improve the environment and promote a business-friendly reputation across the town.
