Elder Gearloose realizes that standard countermeasures will fail because the enemy is learning to erase intent. He tasks Pipsqueak with a dangerous, high-altitude retrieval mission: climbing into the brittle, unused ventilation shafts of the Spire to find the legendary Frost-Kissed Pine Needles, the only known substance rumored to counter Intent Removal from aesthetic binders. Pipsqueak accepts the mission, facing the terrifying prospect of ascending into the silence to find the source of untouched, primal cold.
