In today's episode we're talking about Elagabalus, Rome's first openly trans emperor. We'll start with a brief history on the lead up to Elagabalus' reign and end with his death. We really like this story, not only because it's interesting, but because it's prescient and really kind of shows that the world's not quite so different today than it was even 2000 years ago.
