This week, we continue our look at Oscar contenders with Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth. It’s a refreshing, well-made take on Shakespeare’s warhorse. We enjoyed it, to varying degrees.
For vino, we went with the 1000 Stories Red Zinfandel. It’s a full-bodied red that benefits from being aged in a Bourbon barrel. This gives the wine a rich, oaky, toasty flavor that makes it the perfect pair with a cold, wintry evening. Plus, it’s less than $20. Try a bottle and see if it doesn’t warm you right up!

Now, enjoy another fine episode of Cinemavino! Next week, we take a good look at Valentine’s Day date movies, and good bubbly as well!
