This is The Diabetes Zone. I was inspired to contribute to the diabetes community, because my step dad has diabetes, and I've seen his triumphs as well as his pitfalls. I've seen him feeling wiped out and defeated and I've seen him living in his boundless energy.  I’m your host Virginia Garner, and I'm a retired registered nurse who decided to create this space after a 32 year career.
