The Transformation of Peter

The Scripture comes from Acts 2:14-39. On the Day of Pentecost, God sends the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus gathered in Jerusalem and they are transformed and imbued with new power to carry on the ministry of Jesus. As they waited for that day after Jesus’ ascension to heaven Luke tells us what the disciples were doing in preparation for that day. And those actions by the disciples are key if we want the experience the power and presence on the Spirit in our lives today. “The Transformation of Peter” is part of our “Peter – A Person Like Us” series.
